This past Sunday was Girl Scout day at the Atlanta Braves game. As a huge Braves fan, getting to go on the field with my daughter and run the bases was honestly a dream come true for me! (I think my kids had fun too.)
By the top of the 9th inning, we were winning 4 to 1. In a lot of sports, that kind of lead towards the end usually means you’re going to win. I was hopeful the Braves would hold on, but one thing I love about baseball more than any other sport is that it is truly not over until it’s over.
There I was sitting anxiously while my daughter and her friends kept chanting “Let’s Go Braves!” I couldn’t relax until that last out came through. With Atlanta sports, you just never know.
As we were leaving, another parent mentioned how crazy it was that there are less than 100 days left in 2025. This caused me to panic just a bit because I have a lot of things I want to accomplish before 2026.
And I reminded myself: just like a baseball game isn’t over until it’s over, a LOT can happen in the next 12 weeks.
Making the Most of Your Final Quarter
You might remember me talking about The 12 Week Year last year—it’s still one of my favorite frameworks for actually getting things done. Instead of waiting until January 1st to make changes, you treat every 12 weeks like a fresh start. (Check out my YouTube video if you want a full breakdown!)
How I’m Making the Most of the Next 12 Weeks
Using the Full Focus Planner
It breaks everything down into manageable chunks and helps you stay focused on what matters most each week and each day. I really like being able to write things down using pen and paper.
Picking 1-3 Big Goals That Matter
I’m focusing on maximizing our event space, growing groups at my private practice, and being more present when I’m not working (this one is hard!).
Weekly Planning Sessions
Every Friday afternoon, I spend 30 minutes planning the next week. The Full Focus Planner has a weekly preview section that asks what my top 3 priorities are—this alone has kept me from getting distracted by less important tasks.
Daily Big 3
Instead of a never-ending to-do list, I identify my 3 most important tasks each day. If I get those done, the day is a win.
Scheduling CEO Time
I block out three hours a week for CEO time. This is non-negotiable time to work on my business instead of in it.
Track Your Progress
There’s something motivating about seeing how many tasks you’ve completed. The planner has weekly scorecards that help you see if you’re on track or need to adjust.
The Bottom Line
We still have time to make this year count!
What’s one thing you want to accomplish before the end of the year? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
