This can be tricky to calculate and is going to change based on your life status. If you have another W2 job that takes out taxes or a spouse that does, your number might be lower, however 25-30% of your income is a good place to start. I highly recommend reading the book Profit First for Therapists to help you better understand what you should put away.

This is based on how many weeks you are taking off during the year. This just gives you a target for how much you hope to bill each week that you work.
You probably want to shoot for a few more a week than this number to account for cancellations, but this is a wonderful number to go for!
